Bush Garden

Program

Take a deep dive into bush food & ecology

The Quorn Community Landcare Group invite Quorn Quandong Festival goers to join an amazing line-up of speakers in the Town Hall on Saturday and at the Pithi Kawi Bush Food Garden on Sunday of the Quorn Quandong Festival weekend.

ABC’s Gardening Australia presenter Sophie Thomson will return in 2025 to host and facilitate a range of speakers to discuss selecting, growing, harvesting and processing native food plants in low rainfall regions.

Whether you’re a farmer, gardener, community volunteers or local business with an interest in native foods – there is something here for everyone!

The Pithi Kawi Walking trail features the Quorn Bush Food Garden.  Designed and planted only four  years ago, the beautiful park lands showcase a large variety of local native plant species of cultural importance to our local community.
